Privacy policy
Effective October 1, 2026
Midnight Solutions LLC ("we," "us," or "our") runs this website to share information about our auto repair services in Ida, Michigan. This page explains what happens with your information when you visit the site or contact us through it.
The short version
- No accounts, no cookies, no analytics, and no tracking.
- Texts and emails go straight from your phone or email app to us. This website never sends or stores them.
- The email form only writes an email in your own email app. Nothing is sent until you press send there.
- We never sell your information.
- A few outside services help run the site: Cloudflare (hosting), Google Fonts, Google Maps (only if you open the map link), and a U.S. government vehicle database (for model suggestions).
Information we collect
This website has no accounts or checkout, and it does not collect or store personal information on its own. You decide what to share with us, and it reaches us only through your own apps:
- Texts. The "Send a text" button opens your phone's messaging app. If you text us, we receive your phone number and whatever you write.
- Email. Our email address links open your email app. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you write or attach.
- The email form. When you press "Open in email app," the form writes your name, phone number (if you add one), vehicle, VIN, and message into a new email in your own email app. Nothing you type in the form is sent to us or saved by this website. We only receive it if you choose to send that email.
- Bug reports. The "Report a bug" link in the footer opens an email to our website administrator. We receive whatever you write and any screenshots you choose to attach.
How we use what you send us
We use the information you send us only to reply to you, schedule and perform work on your vehicle, and keep records of that work. Bug reports are used only to fix problems with this website. We do not sell your information or share it with anyone else, except when the law requires it.
Cookies and storage
This site does not use cookies, analytics scripts, advertising trackers, or browser storage. The "Copy number" button only copies our phone number to your clipboard; it does not read anything from it.
Hosting
This website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any hosting provider, Cloudflare automatically processes standard technical information from every visitor request, such as IP address, browser type, device type, and request timestamps, in order to deliver the site, cache content, and protect against abuse like DDoS attacks. Midnight Solutions does not access or use this data directly; it's handled by Cloudflare as our hosting provider. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for details.
Third-party services
- Google Fonts. The site's text fonts load from Google's servers (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). Loading a font causes your browser to contact Google, which may log your IP address as described in Google's own privacy policy. We don't control or receive that data.
- Google Maps. The "Open in Google Maps" link in our contact section opens Google Maps in a new tab. Google Maps is governed by Google's privacy policy, not ours, and nothing is shared with Google unless you open that link.
- Vehicle model suggestions. When you enter a year (1981 or newer) and a make in the email form, your browser asks the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's public vehicle database (vpic.nhtsa.dot.gov) for that year's list of models. Like any web request, this shares your IP address with NHTSA, along with the year and make. Nothing else you type in the form is sent. NHTSA is a U.S. government agency, and that request is governed by its own privacy policy, not ours.
Your choices
You never have to share anything to browse this website. If you've texted or emailed us and would like us to delete your messages or correct your information, email ryan@midnightsolutions.org and we'll take care of it, unless we need to keep records of work done on your vehicle or the law requires us to keep them.
Children's privacy
This website is intended for general audiences and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this page from time to time. The effective date at the top will reflect the most recent revision.
